Stardome

Participation à un workshop sur la construction en bambou. Réalisation d’un « Parametric Post Bent Dome » et d’un « Stardome » pendant 5 jours dans le village de Nurul Ihsan en Malaisie

Préparation en amont avec traitement du bambou dans de l’eau bouillante pendant 3heures. Fentes des différents segments manuellement en préparation du workshop. Assemblage des sections en deux longueurs différentes P et S (pentagone et étoile) grâce à des nœuds. Formation d’une première étoile au sol, implémentation pendant l’érection du dôme d’une alternance de pentagone et d’étoile.

Participation to bamboo construction workshop. Realisation of a “Parametric Post Bent Dome” and a Stardome for 5 days in the Nurul Ihsan in Malaysia.

Bamboo treatment preparation in boiling water for 3 hours. Splitting of the different poles manually in preparation of the workshop. Assembly of bamboo splits of different length named P for pentagone and S for stars with specific knots. Formation of a first star on the floor, implementation with pentagons and stars during the erection of the dome
