I am an architect, a woodworker and a nature lover.
I am attached to design a small and minimalist architecture. My work is entirely dedicated to the eco construction. I built up experiences in bioclimatic design simultaneously in offices and through participative construction sites in order to aim the best energetic performance. All this leads me to develop my knowledge on natural materials: wood, earth, straw, hemp…
I have a manual and practical approach, and this is with this in mind that I followed a traditional carpentry schooling in Norway for a year in 2021. This allows me to propose under certain conditions some construction-design mission of micro-architecture.
I can as well take the lead on the design and planning of your projects and guide you in the making of the administrative documents (building permits, prior declaration) needed in the construction process. I can also provide you with advice for alternative housing projects (yurt, tiny houses, autonomous houses…) or self-made constructions.
I am an architect and I graduated from the Architecture School of Nantes in 2017.
In first place, I worked for the architecture cooperative called Solécité in Nantes. We were focused on energetic rehabilitation, participatory design, and eco-construction. Later on, I joined HPP Architekten in Leipzig, Germany, where I collaborate in the renovation of a huge listed city council Marl’s city council near Düsseldorf. I was in charge of the 3D model, exploring beginning of the BIM (Building Information Modelling).
In 2021, I incorporated Hjerleid, a centre that perpetuates the teaching of traditional Norwegian arts and crafts, learning up on traditional carpentry as well as furniture making, enjoying manual woodwork. This school allowed me to get a transversal approach, cutting down trees, using the sawmill, hewing the timbers, drying and storing. I also comprehended knowledge about forestry, its biotopes, and balances.
More recently, I became project leader for the Amélie Fontaine’s Atelier in the Avesnois. I followed up on the planning for the construction of a school group near Valenciennes. This project defends environmental and ecological values. I also handled the studies for a passive house made of two imbricated geodesic domes entirely designed in wood structure. Those experiences allowed me to develop my management skills with all the actors of the project: engineers’ offices, economists, clients, contractors.
To complete my professional practice, I worked in parallel as freelancer on small projects defending an ecological approach, using natural material as wood, earth, straw, hemp, bamboo. I participated in lots of participative construction sites and I love to help and support alternative projects. I can keep on learning virtuous construction techniques.
I can help you out in the conception construction of small projects, particularly in the realisation of sketches, plans and 3D modelling. I can also guide self-constructors, and alternative housing builders (yurts, tiny houses…) in the drawings of their projects, especially for the preparation of the administrative files for example in the case of building permits or prior declarations.
