À la fin de l’année 2022, j’ai travaillé sur plusieurs chantiers. Je me suis installé pendant 2mois dans l’écovillage de Sainte Camelle situé en Ariège. J’ai pu découvrir la vie dans ce lieu harmonieux qui accueille chaque année beaucoup de visiteurs en transition.
Les premiers jours nous avons réalisé les enduits et clayonnages sur les parois d’un dôme géodésique . À l’intérieur, nous avons utilisé un mélange terre, paille, sable et chaux alors qu’à l’extérieur nous avons appliqué une combinaison de sable et de chaux pour une meilleure étanchéité. Chaque triangle de cette belle création sera à terme vitré. Elle accueillera dans le futur des visiteurs dans le cadre d’un tourisme responsable.
Pendant les semaines qui ont suivi, nous avons bâti des petites toitures en résine pour protéger les terrasses des chalets. Les matériaux ont été récupérés et upcyclés. La structure principale a été réalisée en ancien poteau téléphonique d’EDF.
At the end of the year 2022, I have been woking on different construction sites. I settled two months in the ecovillage of Sainte Camelle located in Ariège. I discovered life in a harmonious place that hosts every year many events and people in transition. The first days, we realized the coatings and wattling of the panels of a geodesic dome. Inside, we applied a mix of earth, straw, sand, and whitewash. On the outside, we used only sand and whitewash for better water resistance. Every triangle of this pretty construction will be sealed on with glass later. In the future, it will host visitors who want to try ecotourism. During the following weeks, we built some small translucid roofs to shelter some cabin terrasses. Almost all materials were upcycled. The main structure was realized with old public light posts.
